Two of Shropshire’s top players qualified for the St Georges Open today as Callum Wraight and Pete Farmer both got through. Callum got past James Southern 12 in his qualifier while Pete had it a bit harder against Yorkshire’s Josh Mordue, coming through 18. However Josh’s dad, Chris, managed to qualify after defeating Rich Lawson 6 in his last game. Paul Evans joined his Willenhall Nordley team mates Scott Simpson and Dan Bodley in qualifying, getting past Cheshire star Glynn Cookson 16.
