Two former winners take part tomorrow in the BCGBA World Club Championships with 2016 winners Parkfield Labour Club, boasting several local county players, hope to reclaim their title. They take on Crosland Moor in their 1st game from Yorkshire. The Greville Arms won the Summit Garage Staffordshire Premier Bowling League and can boast a formidable eight and play South Yorkshire’s Meersbrook in the other game on that green. On the other green is 2015 winners Thongsbridge who can boast several county players, and will be favourites to progress against Hollinhurst from Greater Manchester. Dudley Dell play Cunliffe in the other game which could be a very close contest.
