Sandal Classic 2018 9th & 10th June Fields

SANDAL CLASSIC 2018

This weekend sees the start of the ‘Sandal Classic’ which is once again kindly supported by main sponsor Harpin’s Funeral Service.

Qualifying nights start at Sandal Bowling Club at 6pm (practice from 5.30pm) on both Saturday and Sunday and will continue as such for the next 4 weekends. Each qualifying night includes 16 entrants with 2 going through to the finals night on Sunday 8 July which has a 4pm start (practice from 3.30pm).

This weekend’s action features some of the best players in the country. Saturday’s field includes recently crowned Yorkshire Merit Champion Craig Gant (Huddersfield) and Waterloo winner Tommy Johnstone (Warrington). Sunday’s action includes previous Classic winners Graeme Wilson (Yorkshire), Chris Brown (South Yorkshire) and Gary Ellis (Greater Manchester).

Spectators are very welcome as always. Hot & cold refreshments will be available. Parking is available in the adjacent school park.
