POTTERIES PANEL WEEK 4 RESULTS AND LEAGUE TABLES
GROUP 1
●Game no1 was the league leader Gary Golden Owen up against Lee big daddy dale. Now this was big daddy first of two hard games tonight and to be fair both were playing very well and after 19 ends it was golden who was 13-12 up. Now it seems as if in every one of goldens games its been at this point where something happens, either a lucky hit here or a lucky hit there, But for once it was just the fact of a bad end from big daddy on a power end that gifted golden a big four chalks and as much as big daddy kept the standard up it was golden who ran out winning 22-14

●Game two was on paper a great game as Joe the assassin melvin was taking on Joe the inbetweener Williamson. The assassin had the worse possible start conceding two down on the first power end and the game kind of didn’t get much better for him as the inbetweener seemed really up for it tonight as he too was playing two matches tonight. The assassin though never gives up no matter if the games over or not and to be fair he did well to only lose by 13 chalks cause if this was Dommiii laaaaddd he was playing we could of seen a record score. It was the inbetweener though who professionally went about his business and ran out winning 26-13

●Now game three the bookie had it 1-5 Craig the destroyer podmore and 5-2 Martin mr magoo Davies. Surely the potteries merit chump wouldn’t get his pants pulled down against bottom of the league player Mr magoo. Well guess what after 8 ends it was the destroyer who was doing the businesses and 9-3 up. This is the point something happened with mr magoo, it was mr machine from then on as he just went on a marathon run of ones and twos and apart from the destroyer getting a big two on the last end it was mr magoo who showed the world he is not just in this panel to make the numbers up and shoots up the table and maybe one to watch on the next game.

●The last game in group one was two players who had already played one game as Lee big daddy dale was against Joe the inbetweener Williamson. How both players played there first games this was hard to predict. Both players seemed to be struggling under the lights and both would have one bowl there abouts then one on the car park. The game was very even through out with scores at 7-7 11-11 and 16 across after 20 ends. But it was the inbetweener who decided to get his bins on to get the win and points that take him second behind golden.

GROUP 2
●Game one in group two was top of the table mark the rottweiler Melvin against mark the dog whisperer norcup. Now norcup is a class player on his day and he just hasn’t got started and at 12-5 down after 15 ends it was just looking like another game was slipping away from the dog whisperer. This was until he realised he was playing a rottweiler and started to tame the beast and slowly but surely the dog whisperer got himself back in the game to be one behind 16-15 after 20 ends. It was at this point the rottweiler got himself out of the trance, saw that there was hotdogs and oakcakes on sale and quickly finished the dog whisperer off to win.

●Game two was closely matched with the bookie as undefeated Ian the wizard wassell was playing Paul disco dale. Now after last week’s drumming for disco it was essential he got his moves back on and did the business. The way the wizard starting the game though it was as if disco dale had two left feet cause he was all over the shop as the wizard went 15-1 up after 15 ends. Things didn’t really improve for disco as after 20 ends it was 26-7. Some one did drive past in the car with Saturday night fever on and it did disco a push for the last 5 ends but the damage was done and the wizard wins 3 from 3.

●The third game was Chris the beast Cooper against Lee bomber brown. Now bomber had a great win last week against disco and seems to be coming into form. It’s only took the whole of the season for this to happen but better late than never. While the beast as had a great year but with missing a game last week and not playing else where it did show in the early stages as bomber stormed to a 14-1 lead after 10 ends. To be fair the beast did get himself together for the next 5 ends to only be 15-7 down. But it was bombs away for the remainder as the bomber cruised to a comfy win and third in the table.

●The fourth game in this group was a tussel to the last end as Ian freddie mercury Atherton was against Josh pep’e me pew Towey. Mercury went off like a train and was 12-3 up after 9 ends. This was when pep’e seemed to get his head on cause he just hammered two in most ends and went 18-16 up after 20 ends. Mercury did give him self a chance but it was pep’e who won.
Josh Towey 22
Ian Atherton 21
●Last game of the group was Ian homer Simpson against Andy smooth criminal booth. Now homer was favourite in this but it was smooth criminal who started the better and went 10-3 up after 15 ends. Things went from bad to worse for homer as smooth criminal was moon walking bowls in most ends and was 22-7 up after 20 ends. Homer did score a couple more but it was smooth criminal who ran out easy winner

●This game was mark the rottweiler Melvin against Darren the bulldog Smallman. Now the bulldog was 2-1 to beat the panel group 2 leader and started like a dog with a bone and went 12-4 up. This just made the rottweiler hungry and looking at the twos that came in he was starving. It went all the way to end 25 where scores were 20 across and the rottweiler was sitting one bowl a foot through and a bowl 2 foot short. The bull dogs first bowl was 3 yards through. What happened next you couldn’t make up the bulldog closes his eyes and bowls his bowl through his legs. The bowl his the rottweilers front bowl and sits the back bowl. Unbelievable
