The last 16 sees a clash between 2016 winner Tim Houghton and this year’s Spring winner Kevan Shaw. Simon Coupe is hot favourite now to win it, and faces Ian France, with Phil Lee second joint favourite and playing Ed Furniss. Jon Palmer produced an incredible win in the last 32 and is up against another player who had a great win, James Martin. Stuart Mort and Mike Davies is the first game on, while Kevin Boon is second favourite in the bottom half, and plays Danny Mayers. BCGBA Junior Individual Merit Champion Matty Worden plays Shawn Frewin, while Paul Evans takes on David Higginbottom.
