Shropshire shocked Warwick & Worcester as they earned their first win over them since the final in 2006. They won home and away in an awesome performance. At home they won by 29 on Hanwood, with Camilla Parsonage their best winner 4, as Jack Darling was the best of five winners for the away side. On Triplex there were 8 single figure cards, with Shropshire recording 5 of them, Edward Proudlove the best of them 3. Jack Newsome was the best of the three for last year’s runners up, 21-2. Yorkshire though showed they are the team to beat with a demolition of newly promoted Staffordshire by 184. At home on Kirkheaton they had 10 winners with one walkover, the best winner being Joshua Gough 3. Staffs’ only winner was Mia Benton 17. On Short Heath Libs and Connor Bray was best winner 10 for the home side as Yorkshire had five single figure winners in a 72 shot success, Lewis Cooper the best of them 2.
Relegated Derbyshire showed no mercy on their quest to return to the Premier Division as they beat promoted Lancashire by 288 overall, with all 20 winners. At home on Stretton Owen Sheriff was best winner 0 and away at Coppull Daniel Beard was with his 3 win. South Yorkshire also delivered a big win as they beat North Lancs & Fylde by 134. 105 of these shots were at home on Hollinsend Park, best winner being Callum Jeffrey, Jay Bailey and James Nadin all 21-5 as they also had a walkover. North Lancs did have two winners, the best of them being Thomas Johnson 14. At Farrington and Matthew Cragg and Jason Harris were best winners for the home side, with Ryan Baker’s 21-3 helping the away side win by 29.
Cheshire beat Greater Manchester by 50 to give them the advantage in this three man group. They won by 32 at home on Owley Wood with Mark Bushell winning 1 at number 10. Kaitlin Proctor was best for the away side 8. They won by 18 on Norden as Kieran Deakin was best winner 2 as they had four single figure winners. The home side also had three of them, the best being Jack Beer 6.
